32 or 64

I heard that Vista comes in both 32 bits and 64 bits version

I wonder what would normally be the better choice

Any links that would advise on that?

Does the computer have a 64bit processor. If not it can't run Vista x64.
If so scan the newsgroup posts. There has been extensive discussion on
this.
