Start > Run > type in "regedit" no quotes > hit Enter > navigate to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session
Manager\Environment\PROCESSOR_ARCHITECTURE by expanding the + signs. If the
PROCESSOR_ARCHITECTURE value is x86 then you have a 32-bit system, if not
then you have a 64-bit system.
Intel Celeron, Pentium, Pentium Pro, Pentium II III and IV are all
'32-bit' - Intel Titanium is 64-bit. AMD processors, including Duron and
Athlon, are all 32-bit except for the 64-bit AMD Opteron processor.
