You have 32 bit. 64 bit only runs on very expensive special hardware and
can't be bought at the stores.

| How do you tell if your windows xp is 32 or 64 bit?
| Thanks

See sig.

I think I'm just going to post a blank message EVERY DAY with a title of "If
you have to ask if your copy of XP is 32 bit, it is."

Not that that would help....

I thought we had MS trained - on a few pages on their website they were
saying '32 bit' and 'Itanium version', but this doesn't appear to have
caught on - and offering the 32/64 choice on the 'panic panic panic I've
got MSBlast, I need a patch' page is just plain crazy.

[I don't even believe in a '64 bit' version .. not until it'll run on an
Opteron and Athlon64 as well as an Itanium 1/2. 8>.]

I don't think there's anything wrong with offering the
choice--it's how they offer the choice that I object to. It
should be abundantly clear to Microsoft by now that their
terminology confuses large numbers of people. Surely they should
recognize that it's appropriate to change the way they say this.
