32-Bit or 64-Bit

Grateful if someone can advice me how I can tell whether
my version of MS Windoes XP is 32-bit or 64-bit. (It's XP
Professional.)

I'm not positive of this but I'd guess that since you
have XP Professional it would be the 64-bit version
because I have XP Home and mine took the 32-bit version.

BAD guess, VERY VERY bad guess.

64 bit ONLY runs on ONE processor type - the VERY EXPENSIVE Itanium.

DON'T GUESS.

It's 32.

If you have to ask if your copy of XP is 32 or 64 bit, it's 32.
