I am running Windows XP Home Edition. When I go to
download a security patch they have one for 32 bit and
one for 64 bit XP. How can I tell which one I have? I
went to my control panel but all it said was Windows XP
Home Edition...no mention of 32 or 64 bit version. Any
help out there?

If you have to ask you have a 32 bit version.

Greetings --

If you have to ask, you're almost definitely running the 32-bit
version of WinXP. (I'm sure you'd have noticed paying several
thousand dollars more for the Itanium or Itanium II CPU required to
run the 64-bit version of WinXP Pro.) Additionally, there is no
64-bit version of WinXP Home.

Harry,

Windows XP Home Edition is ONLY available as a 32-bit product.
