31-day view on Calendar

Howdy,

Have a strange problem with the calendar on my WinXP Home box (all updates)
using Outlook XP (all updates).

When switching to my Calendar (from Inbox or any other folder), it takes me
my default view of 31-days. This is how I set it up. However, for some
reason, it no longer goes to the current day (it's stuck on April 25). To
get it to highlight the current day (in the 31 day view), I have to push the
"Today" button. In the past, I didn't have to do this. Interestingly, my
other Calendar views (i.e., 1 day, 5 day, 7 day) work fine; in other words,
they highlight the current day when switching from another folder.

I tried Detect/Repair feature, but it did not correct the problem. I
noticed the problem sometime after installing the MSN Windows Desktop Search
bar. Not sure if that has anything to do with it. Tried help files and
Microsoft.com but didn't find anything.

Anyways, suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, Juan

Do a search of "April 25" in the Outlook>General Questions forum and they
walk you through how to fix this.

Cindy,

Maybe I'm not searching correctly, but I can't find the message under
Microsoft.public.outlook.general.

Looks like the problem corrected itself after June started. After some
additional searching, apparently this is a known problem with Outlook. I
tried your suggestions below; unfortunately, I was unable to find the
disable compress weekend feature. Anyways, thanks for the help.
