2nd hard drive

I install a 200Gb hard drive....i formated iy as nstc...but i can add
partitions to it...its says the Harddrive is a Dynamic..disk
ant ideas ...just want to add a few partition to it

- What's "nstc"? NTFS? (Windows NT File System).
- You say "i can add partitions to it". Why don't you?

You'll need to convert this back to a basic disk first; but you'll lose any
data on it.

However, unless you were planning on using something like Partition Magic,
you're going to lose the data anyway as the Windows diskpart and disk
management tools do not support after-the-fact alterations of partition
sizes.

Right Click on My Computer, click on Manage. Under Storage, click on Disk
Management. Delete each listed volume. Then right-click on the disk and
choose Convert to Basic Disk.

Now you can create whatever partitions you need and format each of them
appropriately.
