2K freezes during boot up

I just started experiencing problems with my PC.. OS 2K is
locking up during the boot process.. Any suggestion what
the problem might be? and possible solutions
 
Unfortunately this is probably the system board. I just
had this problem and our Hardware tech said that was
usually the problem since he has had a few computers do
this.
