I upgraded from FP98 to FP2000 (both legal versions) then overwrote
the lot with a bootleg copy of Office Professional 2002. No problems,
it has worked fine for the last 6 months.

Now I'm thinking of upgrading to FP2003. Will I need to purchase a
full version of FrontPage 2003 or will I be able to get away with just
the upgrade version?

Thanks

Maynard

the answer is obvious but you're nuts to ask that question

Delete FP2002, then install FP2003.
You can purchase a upgrade version since you have the FP98 and FP2000 CDs. If not then you need to
purchase a full copy of FP2003.

What Thomas is saying is that the copy on your machine can be deleted
because it does not have to be installed for you to install the 2003
upgrade. During installation, it will ask you for the qualifying program
(2002 or fp98 will work). All you have to do is have the CD in the CDROM.
FP2003 upgrade will simply point to it (you browse) at the CDROM and it will
continue with the installation.

I was wondering about Maynard's mindset to admit on a MS newsgroup that he
is using a bootleg program.
