I'm using Outlook 2003. Is there a way to make it so that when I'm
composing an e-mail Outlook won't automatically change the case of anything?
what I really want to do is make it so everything is lower case and not have
it prompt me to correct that. but I also don't want to actually turn off
spell-check because my spelling is atrocious. Any ideas/work-arounds would
be much appreciated.

thanks.

Are you using Word as your editor or Outlook's internal editor? If you're
using the internal editor the options are here: Tools menu > Options >
Spelling > AutoCorrect Options

BTW, what do you have against capitals? :-)

Ah, so you want the e. e. cummings add in?

Sorry, couldn't help myself. Vince had a more helpful reply, but I do have
to wonder why you don't want proper capitalization in your messages. I tell
all my users to pretend they're writing for a strict high-school English
teacher. I'm a bit of a martinet about these things, though. ;-)

I'm with you. I'm just asking on behalf of a friend who finds newsgroups
too confusing to do her own dirty work.

I was gonna go for the e.e. cummings thing but decided to bite my virtual
tongue (I was at work and my real personality gets a bit quashed) :-)
