2000 pro & server 2000

Hi everyone,

since I was having trouble with xp & 2003, I restored my 2000 pro w/sp4 and
server 2000 w/sp4 back onto the machine, everything works nicely.

until, I applied the latest 2000 rollup patch on server & clients, the same
problem (as xp & 2003 mentioned in another thread earlier) happen on these
machines. I don't understand what's going on, but that's definitely
something deal with the patch.

I will try to uninstall it to see whether it will resolve the problem.

Patrick,

Please check registry setting restrictanonymous before and after you uninstall
the rollup patch.

If that doesn't help, provide diagnostics so we can see what to check next. Run
"browstat status" and "ipconfig /all" on both computers, and post here.
