20 GB Maxotr Fireball lct 10 shows under Hardware but not Disk Ma

So I bought 2 Drive off Ebay, and sold one to a friend, this is the fireball. I loaded it up on my computer to make sure it would work so as not to sell him a broken drive. It worked fine, despite not immediatley showing on the desktop i was able to go to Disk Management and partition and set it up. Now the problem is, I take it to his house, install it, i already have it set to slave, and nothing. It will show under his Hardware configuration just fine, but wont show under Disk Management? Now im not sure that his main drive is set to master because it doesnt have its configuration printed on the back, so i just fiddled with it setting it like my own drive on master. Nothing. Any Ideas, his is a Dell 8500 2.66 Ghz running Xp

Does the BIOS recognize it?
