2 tabs missing on internet option

On internet exployer sp6 in the tools of internet options
I'm misssing my general tab and programs tab? is there
some kind of quick check to find these tabs? or is it a
virous. I did do a uninstall and reintsall on internet
exployer with the operating systems cd.

Hi Pete,

Reset the Internet Explorer tabs and remove all the browser restrictions.

Restore All tabs in IE and Removes the ** Internet Options ** Restrictions
as well


The problem is due to a spyware. Download Ad-Aware from www.lavasoftusa.com,
scan the system and eliminate the malware products. Re-apply the above fix
if necessary.
** Remember to update the pattern file using WebUpdate in Ad-Aware **
