2 Outlook email security questions

I just switched from Outlook Express to Outlook, & I'm able to do most of
the things I want, but I have a couple questions about security that I can't
find answers to.

1. In OE, when you view a message, if there are graphics, there is some kind
of security zone setting that doesn't display the graphics unless/until you
click on a bar that says it's okay. I like that, but I can't find any
similar setting in Outlook. Outlook's options | security | zones is
already set on the most restrictive, and that's all I could think of. Any
other places to set this, or can't it be done?

2. In OE, if I get a message I'm suspicious of, I can close the preview pane
and click on the message properties and view the message, as it were, by the
back door, in text only, so that none of the stuff in the message has a
chance to play/run or download. I can't find anything similar in Outlook.
Anyone know somewhere to look for something like this?

What version of Outlook are you using since OL2003 has an option not to show
graphics in messages unless you perform an action. On Point #2, you can
check the header but not the body.

I'm using OL2002, so maybe that's the answer. Can you recommend a webpage
with general recommendations about good practices for security on OL? I
have Norton utilities scanning incoming email, but I gather that viruses are
not the only thing one might want to avoid. I'd like to make sure I know
the main, basic things I can do.
