I have a PC with 2 network cards installed, 1 for Bloomberg and 1 for
Internet access. I obviously need the internet requests to go via the
internet configured card and bloomberg to go via the other card, but it
doesnt matter what I do I cannot get this to work without disabling one or
the other, I am now pulling my hair out (what I have left) trying to find a
solution.
Can anyone help ?

Regards Kevin

Isn't Bloomberg on the Internet? You only need two NIC
installed if you are connecting to two LAN or Internet and
you don't have a router or printer server, etc.

The system should be able to work with just one card unless
you have a private connection for Bloomberg on a DSL or T1.

Then a router might be a better idea.

Hello Kevin,

may be this could be a hint:
if you know the TCP/UDP Ports or even the Protocol (e.g. http), your
application is using it is possible to configure a filter for each NIC in
Network and Dialup-Connections --<NIC>--Properties--Internet Protocol
--Properties --Advanced--Options--TCP/IP Filtering, where only the IP-traffic
is accepted that you want. I don't know, which protocol is used for your
Bloomberg Application, but if it is IP then something like this should work,
i think

Both nics are connected to seperate routers.
Bloomberg is connected via leased line and internet is connected over
broadband.
I have tried using the automatoic metric and binding of network cards but to
no avail, all i want is to be able to point all bloomberg traffic down one
card and internet down the other.

Kind Regards

Kevin
