2 instances of outlook running?

Hi,
I have a machine running XP Pro OS and a machine that's
running Win2K Pro. On the Win2K machine, I can have 2
instances of Outlook running concurrently, but with the XP
machine, it doesn't let me.
Both are running Office XP SP2. Any ideas?

Only 1 instance of Outlook can actually run at a time. Any other
instances shown in the Task Manager are hung instances.
 
Sounds like it's the same instance, with two different windows.

The side effect is that every email is received twice. How do I prevent
outlook from running more than one instance?
