Hello

I have this strange problem in my Microsoft outlook - I have two inbox, 2
sent items, actually everything is twice. The main problem is that when
email arrives the notification does not work (it is set/enabled to do).
Hence to know if an email has arrived I have to everytime click on the Inbox
which then shows that email had arrived some few hours early. Does any one
have any solution for this please. My PC is connected to server and Exchange
server is used for mail.
The systems support fellow does not have a clue even though he created my
account.

Thank you
Gina

I have seen this problem also when OL2003 was initially set up but it
went away. I'm guessing that on my laptop I had OL2003 and Netscape
mail running at the same time. Some time after I exited Netscape, OL
settled down.

thanks -

are the two inboxes identical? If so, do both work ok, no errors?

The second inbox is a ghost - if it works without errors, try right clicking
on the top level of it and choosing Close. If that returns an error, see

Its called a PST ghost. Creating a new profile will fix the problem. There is a registry fix as well. This can get quite involved and I wouldn't reccomend it.
