I would think not, but why? What are you trying to achieve?

Hi Mack,

I don't see why not as long as you don't convert the XP Home drive, though I
haven't actually tried that. Be aware too that the Home installation will
not be able to read anything on the dynamic disk. I should think too that
you would want to keep ntldr on the basic disk.

Thanks for replying. Not trying to achieve anything, just wanted to know
since I have XP Home on both drives.

Thanks, Nutcase. I wouldn't want XP Home to read anything from the other
drive. I just want to be able to boot from either drive.

You have two installations of XP Home on one computer? Why? That's a very
unusual setup. What does doing that accomplish for you?

Does someone have to accomplish anything? Can't you do it just because you
want too? I just like to do things to see if I can.

You can of course do, or at least try to do, whatever you want. A question
like "why do you want to do this?" is often asked because if we understand
your objectives, we may be able to help you achieve them in some way other
by providing the direct answer to your question that you may have thought
was the only thing that could help you.

Sure, Ed. On its way.

Hi Mack!
I am trying also to have two drives with one operational system on both
drives. The reason is that my application program will not work without
having all of it's data on the same drive. Now, my C drive is getting full
and I want to transfer this program to a USB external, but, as I seeit, the
app will not work without an operational (in this case Windows XP Home)
system. So, I am very interested in finding out what where your results and ,
if it worked, how did you accomplish the installation?
Thanks
William
