i have two hard drives. can i make a new user and have the documents
and
settings for it go on my second hard drive?
Yes. You can have the entire user profile on your D Drive.
Example: D:\Documents and Settings\username
You can do it manually by copying the profile to the D Drive then pointing
to the new location in the registry, but thats a pain in the Butt. What you
want is to download Microsofts Shared computer toolkit (see link below).
All you do is create a new user, run the toolkit and select create profile
for user, select the user and what drive to create the profile on. The
Toolkit has many functions for securing a PC, which I dont want to get into
here. But check out its many features.
