Does anyone know if I can install XP Homes on two drives? My app will not
run without it's data on the same drive and my C is running out of space. If
it is possible how do you do it?

Didn't you ask this before in a previous thread? Yes you can install a
second copy on another hard drive but unless doing it for repair
purposes it's a violation of the EULA to have it installed on two
drives. You can't boot from an external USB drive though. Why not just
by another larger drive?

Yes, I probably did post this question earlier, but, forgive me as this is
my first effort in this forum and I got procedurally confused. Anyway,
thanks for your answer. Not being able to boot from a USB external drive
probably ends my effort. The reason for not buyiing a bigger C Drive is that
the data from the app is very private and I do not want it on my personal PC
except to run it when required. What I most likely need is an internal
removable drive. I believe these are sometimes used for an instant back up
type of solution. However, I guess I would have to buy two licenses. What
do you think? Thanks much again.

I did something like this, but I installed it twice on the same
drive. Since they can read and write to each
other partitions, I can use the other for corrective action when one
goes wrong .

Regarding installing on a second drive, it can be done, its just a
variation of what I did. You initiate the install and you point it
to the new space. The C drive handles the boot process and gives
you a menu where you can choose which one to boot.

In one post you say, "My app will not run without it's data on the same
drive".
In another post you say, "it will not run if it's data is not on the same
drive as the operational system."
Which statement is correct?

Have you tried installing the program to another drive?
Does the program documentation say that the program has to be on the same
drive as the operating system?

You're welcome. According to the EULA, yes each installation needs it's
own license.
