How do I control the font size and bullet type in a master
for all of my 2-column bullet slides?

Deborah

Deborah,
Choose View - Master - slide master.
Select the object area by clicking on the edge of the box.
Choose Format Bullets and numbering and select the bullet you want. There is
a list that allows you to adjust the size of the bullet and the colour.
Click OK and your done.
The bullet you have chosen will be applied to all five levels. If you do not
want that you will have to select each level individually and format
accordingly.
Hope this helps

You can't control the two-column bullet slides independently of the
single-column bullet slides, unfortunately.

They both key off the same info from the master; the bullets are the same, the
type style is the same, with the type size reduced slightly for the two-column
slides.

If you want entirely different formatting, you'll have to apply it to each
slide. Or to save time, format one two-column slide to taste then copy and
edit it when you need add'l ones.

If you want entirely different formatting, you'll have to apply it to each
Or save time by creating a second master which actually has text larger in the single
placeholder than you really want in the 2-column layout so that it allows for the
decrease in text size once the 2-column layout is applied. Then use that master for the
slides using the 2-column layout.
This would be an option in PPT 2002 (aka PPT XP) and 2003.

<slaps self on head>Yep. Of course! Thanks!
