Win XP/ESET ESS AV-FW Suite/SpywareBlaster/SuperAntiSpyware Active---Only On
my first daily opening of Outlook I get: Error: Access Violation at 00x46FAFC
(tried to read from 0x varied characters change each time) - Program
Terminated.

Is there a Utility to trouble-shoot What Program is Being Terminated? No
system problems recognized so far. Thanks!

Diane- Thanks for Replying. I Un-Chk'd every Scan Email box in the ESET setup
[(3) places] and the Error Box still appears. The last ESET AV-FW update was
distant enough as to not make sense as being the culprit. While I don't know
what App is being Terminated, I suppose I can live with this until something
major doesn't work. Was just willing to take a stab at correcting. Thanks
again!

make another outlook profile and see if that stops it.

are you using any addins, like an rss reader? They can throw up the error.

Do you have your AV/spyware scanning email? if so, disable it.

Sadly, unchecking (disabling) the email scanning feature in many AV
applications is not enough to eliminate problems once they start. In
general, you should uninstall the application, then do a custom re-install
without any email scanning modules or services. This is mandatory with both
Norton and McAfee; disabling the feature doesn't help, it must be completely
removed.
