Hey Guys,

Can anyone suggest a good buy? I need a good 17" CRT monitor for under a 100 quid.

Thanks.

Same here, my monitor is from the Pentium 2 period!! It still works. (extremely heavy though)

IIyama, NEC, Sony, any flat screen by them is good.

Philips, Compaq & Dell are also quite good.

Any specific colour?

There's a few good ones Here

The Viewsonic (bottom of the list) looks good at £91.42 plus shipping.

Try and go for a flat screen model, it's worth it.

you can have my iiyama 19" flat screen for £199.99 inc VAT and subsidised delivery :)

I highly doubt a budget could double though :(

Seriously, get a pure flat one, they are really nice. iiyama are awesome too

Yeah, i love Iiyama monitors, when i used to work in the computer shop in 1995 we sold Iiyama flat screen 17" monitors for about 700 quid! Oh, and 4Mb of RAM was £140. hehe. Anyway, its for the computer im building for my mate, he only has £500 to spend and initially wanted a 17" tft, but i soon talked him out of spending half his budget on that. So basically i want a good 17" crt for at most £100. I looked at the Iiyama one on overclockers but it is only a .27 dot pitch.
