I would like to know what happens if one adds an auxiliary HD to Win2k
below SP3(or win98), i.e. to those OS not geared to support the 48 bit
addressing.
1. Does this corrupts the all data of the HD, by simply adding the HD
and opening the PC
2. Or with the old OS, by opening the pc (and without writing to the
HD) is possiblt to mantain the HD intact, i.e. without corrupting the
data, and possibly with a message of warning that there is something
wrong on it.

Thanks for any answer
