160 gig

I have just got a new 160 gig hard drive and i can not
see it in explorer??

I can see it in device manager?

Go to the Disk Manager (Control Panel | Administrative Tools | Computer
Management | Storage | Disk Management.

Partition it, then format it.
 
Open "administrative tools" » "disk management" format it. I would suggest 2 (or more) partitions.
