When I run some DOS programs I get an eror mesage that sais " 16 bit Windows
Subsystem c:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not suitable
for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose 'Close' to
terminate the aplication. Close Ignore" Plz explane wuz hapinin with my pc.
Thanx.

SP2 upgrade deletes "autoexec.nt" from the
C:\windows\subsystem32
file for whatever reason.

Colin's answer works great!!!

Hi there Michelle, try logging on to the site below, and
downloading XP_Fix.EXE It took me literaly hours to
sort this problem out, and was cured in seconds after I
had found out what to do!!!

As TexE2U has been told several times this has nothing to do with SP2.
For some reason he persists in posting this misinformation. This
problem occurs in SP1 and earlier as well. There are a variety of
things that cause damage to or can delete the autoexec.nt file. One of
these is a trojan. See this link for info. Scan your system for
malware otherwise the problem could come back.
