Hi,

I was wondering if any of you guys ever had an 1394 net adapter ? I have an
onboard NIC but the 1394 adapter is there for no reason. The net works even
when the 1394 adapter is disabled. And when I uninstall this 1394 adapter it
reinstalls itself when I reboot or do a new hardware scan. How do I get rid
of this ?

The 1394 adapter is for firewire devices. You probably have the firewire
port on your motherboard. If you don't have any firewire devices, don't
worry about it. It isn't hurting anything. Just leave it alone.
