I have a user that ran into the following popup error
message today 126; no additional information was given
in the popup.

trans-script of message from user: Ran into an error
today, just the main error and description (TNS-00530
(generic protocol adapter error) and the secondary 126
with no description. I couldn't find a tns-00126 error
which is why I thought it might be an NT error

Anyone have any suggestions as what a error 126 popup
means or what it is related to?

thank you in advance.

Hi John,

Error 126 is a valid Windows error message. I looked it up and found:

The specified module could not be found.

I hope this means something to you with regard to the particular
application. If it is Windows itself that pops up the window, it should
have something in the title bar to indicate the source and should also have
a button or two present.
