1024by768 wont change to it

i need help when i change it to 1024by768 the screen becomes all blury and i
have to shut down my computer manule then start it back and the screen splits
into four so i change the screen back to 800by600 then it works fine but i
cant play some games because of that the color is fine i can change it and
when i play some games it does the same as when i change it to the bigger
size but i can exit it with hot keysplease reply and help

What is the brand and model of your vedio card?
I would suggest you to update the vedio card drivers to the latest XP WHQL
compatible drivers.
Go to the vedio card manufacturer's website to download the latest XP
drivers or go to the mobo website for on-board vedio chips.
Note: strictly follow the instructions for how to update the vedio card
drivers.

Sounds like you are tring to run an onboard VIDEO,you

may need to upgrade to a faster video card,if you don't
have an AGP slot you'll need to get one that runs on
PCI.Had the same problem,onboard was up to 32MB video,it
was choppy,Wouldn't size properly.Upgrade to 64DDR Nvidia
PCI card,runs great for my games now.Diablo,Ghost
Recon,Rainbow six,Quake III,Unreal Tournament,all work
great now....But were choppy with onboard video.
