Dear Sir / Madam,

I currently have Windows XP Home addition as my operating
system.

I have 1 at-risk file under the Adware.Hotbar and even
after scanning through Norton AntiVirus, I am unable to
delete the 1 file which is causing problem in starting up
my computer and is very slow before the Window XP Home
Addition appears on the screen. When I press the delet
button on the Norton AntiVirus after scanning, it say
delet failed.

Status: Delete Failed Threat Name: Adware.Hotbar - 1 File
Name as follows:

"C:\Recycler\S-1-5-21-4096208883-805495561-271068216-1011
\Dc1\Hbinst.exe"

Kindly help me with a favourable and urgent reply as to
how I can delet this file from my computer. Thank you.

Regards.

Kumar.

Thank you for your reply. I am not technical and I need
your help. I have empty my recycle bin. I have done the
registry and the problem is still there. I don't know
what you meant by restore points - please explain. As for
Hotbar ...... (Line 206) - What does this do and can you

Dear Will Denny,

Thank you for your reply. The current problem I have is
because of the site I went to and i.e.
http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/ad
ware.hotbar.html when I installed the uninstall programme
for the "Adware.Hotbar".

The other site you have given me, I visited them and
sorry to say that I am lost because I don't know where to
start as I am not technical. I need your help and if you
can guide me, I will check it out and appreciate your
help. I want to try the best and easy in deleting the
file that is causing me the problem. Thank you once again
and please reply.

Kumar
