I have a paid subscription to Hotmail plus which includes access to hotmail
through Outlook or Outlook Express. In OE, I have problems each time I start
the programme and sometimes while it's running. So I finally upgraded to
Office 2003 which supports hotmail through Outlook -- I'd much prefer this.
I got it working on the day I installed it, but inconsistently. And since
then, it's not worked for a few weeks. I get the error "Task 'Hotmail:Inbox
Synchronizing headers.' reported error (0x800CCCF4) : 'An unknown error has
occurred. Please save any existing work and restart the program'."
I have ensured that my firewall permits access to this site and that my IE
internet options also have msn and hotmail sites permitted. None of this
seems to make any difference.
