I had been using Outlook 2002 to view my Hotmail. With the change in policy,
I lost that capability, SO, I paid MSN for Hotmail Plus service (which has
increased my storage space on their server) but I still haven't got the
capability to view my mail in Outlook as I did before the change in policy
which signing up for Plus was supposed to permit. As I can't find any
support options in hotmail or MSN that will help me resolve this issue I'm
posting the error messages with hopes that someone can either provide me with
a solution or direct me to the correct contact to resolve this issue.
Errors
Task 'Hotmail - Sending' reported error (0x800CCC3E) : 'Unknown Error
0x800CCC3E'
Task 'Hotmail: Folder:Inbox Synchronizing headers.' reported error
(0x800CCC3E) : 'The server does not support the required HTTP methods.'

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Are you using a firewall? Does the firewall support webdav?

How long ago did you upgrade?

Sounds like you have your ISP's server names in the POP and smtp server
boxes. You must select Hotmail in Accounts>HTTP mail> the server will be
filled in automatically. Your Hotmail server is still:
http://services.msn.com/svcs/hotmail/httpmail.asp
Don't try and use your POP/smtp servers for Hotmail, even though you're
paying for the premium service. You should email MSN for more instructions.
In hotmail, go to Help, Recent customer questions, View other Help or Contact
us, Other Contact msn Hotmail or go to this link:
http://www.hotmail.msn.com/cgi-bin/dasp/ua_info.asp?pg=ar_eform&_lang=EN

I'm suspicious of a firewall or proxy server as well...
