0X80070008E error

Gurus.

Laptop xp pro,OL 2000,256 ram.

When I connect to the exchange server for email using send and received
buttom, the following error keeps popping up: SENDING AND RECEIVEING REPORTED
ERROR(0X8007000E)OUT OF MEMORY OR SYSTEM RESOURCES.CLOSE SOE WINDOWS OR
PROGRAMS AND TRY AGAIN.

It downloads and them the error comes back even when there are no email to
be downloaded.

What could be the problem, thanks for the help, has some one got across this
problem? thanks again
