Those with Win XP Home already installed gave me fits. Perhaps I am a
dope.
There were 2 PC's which I tried to repair/reinstall (not full/clena)
of Win XP Home. I followed others instructions and pressed "R" after
the License Agreement with the XP Home CD.
When all was done I received the following:
PC 1. something like "Cannot activate product, please call Microsoft".
System was stuck and I could do nothing. What should I have done?
PC 2. In another instance the person still received the same error
when rebooting and that was Stop: 0x0000007B (and then a ton of
numbers in parenthesis). The person tried a repair again and still no
luck. They cannot even go into safe mode.
Please help me on this.
