Transparency in XP

Hi guys,
What's the best freeware program to set the transparency of windows
in XP? I just got a laptop with XP Pro on it. I have seen several
programs to do this in the past, but ignored them since I didn't have
an XP computer to try them on. I'd like to know what's the most
functional one, as well as what's the easiest to use. Thanks!

Not really a recommendation because I haven't tried it... and don't
know why it is desirable to have transparent windows. I've just been
looking at tweaking programs, and one was described as:

WindowManager provides an easy way to manage all the currently opened
Windows on your desktop. It allows you to hide selected windows, make
them transparent or always on top. You can also configure the taskbar
and all child windows opened by applications. WindowManager runs in
the system tray and also offers password protection for several of the
functions,

Glass 2k is very simple. 54kb.

I use it to set a transparent task bar. It will set any window you
like to any transparency.

No matter how many holes you cut you still don't get to see the dos
commands running windows behind the desktop wallpaper, but thats only
because the text is black on a black background.

This is where the clarify button comes in useful. :)

Thanks for the great responses! One other question:

Do you know of any ones that can set the transparency of the current
window with a hotkey? Thanks!
