RPC allowing internet hackers in

Hello,

For the last month or so, every 2 or 3 days I get a virus.
So far every virus has been let into my computer through
the RPC. (remote procedure call) What in the world was
Microsoft thinking when they put this ignorant program
into a Home Based Operating System. I have Windows XP
Home, What exactly does HOME stand for? I don't need to
hook up 5 computers. I just want to run 1 internet browser
and my own programs.

When is someone from Microsoft going to make a way to have
this stupid RPC program perminately disabled? Updates you
say?? I shouldn't have to update this $200.00 operating
that I don't own. (since its licensed through microsoft)

From now on everytime I update YOUR operating system, I am
going to start charging you $2000.00 an hour for every
hour I spend fixing your product. Its my internet
connection, its my time, and its your product running on
MY computer components. You do the math!

Its not wise to shut off the RPC service, so many other services depend on
the RPC service running.

At last!!! You've write exactly what i'm thinking. Recently I discovered someone hacking my 7 home premium pc using the same RPC services.
I think he change something in the boot files, using flags somewhere in the memory, but it more an intuition than proofed knowledge . No mater how clean i get the hard disk, (using diskpart, bcdedit)it always reinstall it with a denied access to all remote services + lots (around 30)group users and a book size crap load on the registry.

I think Micrapsoft leaving backdoor remote access open without any key to lock it-it the biggest mistake,for any reasonable person, will never trust this company and will never forget the hours and days and months he spend looking how to close for good all that rapping ass services. Forgive my language, totally different mother tung
BTW, isn't it weird the net almost been cleaned out from topic like that?! Searched in two diffrent languages, but your message from 2004 was the only one who address that HUGE problem!
