Problem with time on emails

Michael

if I send a test email at 10am it returns in a few
seconds with a time (in the future of 11am). I have tried
everything to coordinate this time and even requested
assist from my ISP (Comcast Cable) they had no solution.
I realize that in a few seconds the email could have
traveled the world on various servers but I have never
seen any time well ahead of when it was sent. I'm located
in the Southeastast (Tennessee). The time returning would
indicate it was time stamped in Europe or someplace 1
hour ahead far east of where I'm located or that I have a
serious problem somewhere in my system or Outlook
Express?? Anyone have any ideas what I could do to
correct this? My system has always kept accurate time. My
computer clock is displaying the correct time on the icon
tray and the outgoing emails show the correct time. It's
only on emails coming in to me everyone of them is off by
an hour ahead of my actual time. Hope someone can help.
Thanks, Michael

One hour east of you is not Europe. It is Atlantic time -meaning it could be
the Eastern Canadian provinces or Brazil. Look at a globe and check time
zones.

Usually (but not all the time) the e-mails are stamped with the time from the
server. For me, I am located in arizona, my visible time stamp is my time,
but my properties stamp is 3 hrs later (ex. 3:00PM Arizona Time, it says
6:00PM) This is (i think) because my isp mail server is located in New York
State. Hopefully this is what you meant, and this is correct. LOL!
