Operation must use updateable query

Help please. I was using an update query in my DB for a long, long time.
Then all of a sudden I get this error message when running it 'Operation must
use an updateable query." The query if fine, I can't figure out what in heck
this started happening? Any help is appreciated!

Which version of Access are you using? Has this changed recently? Are you
on a different machine? Has anyone modified the table structures referred
to in the queries? Have you tried rebuilding the query? What are you using
the query for? Is this connected to a "local" data store, or a remote one
(e.g., SQL-Server, Oracle, MySQL, ...)? Can you provide a copy of the SQL
statement that is your query?

Do you get the idea that you may not have told us nearly enough to give you
relevant advice?!
