IE 6 photos grainy and blurry

Whenever I log onto the internet and try to view images whether it be in a
online photo album or just a website they are very grainy and blurry. I have
photos on my hard drive and can view them and they look great. It's only in
IE 6. I'm very computer saavy but I can't figure this one out. What could it
be? Thanks.

Hi pover

You don't mention which version of WIndows you are using, but, try the
following and see if it helps:
First - If you have an accelerator supplied by your ISP try turning it off.
It works by reducing image size (and therefor quality) for downloads.

Try clearing the IE cache. IE>Tools>Options>General>Delete files (and
delete offline content.)

Zone Alarm Pro can block Images in IE

1. Go into IE>Tools>Internet Options>Security>Custom level>reset custom
level to Medium or Low
2. Go into IE>Tools>Internet Options>Privacy>set the slider to Medium or Low
3. Go to this site and read on adjusting the Privacy settings in ZA. It will
explain how to customize on a per site basis.

Thank you Jan. I'll bet that's what it is. I'm using windows XP by the way. I
am using a accelerator on my isp too. So I will try that. Thank you very
