Corrupt Send and Receive Group

My initial send/receive group was throwing up an OLE error (O/L XP). So I've
created a new group and have overcome the OLE error.

However I cannot delete the original group - message is 'You cannot remove
this group.'

Any ideas on how I can (all email accounts in the group are set neither to
send nor receive and all other option boxes are unticked).

Completely reset your Send/Receive settings by renaming the srs-file for
your profile to .old
