Cell border won't print

I have a spreadsheet in Excel 2003 where each row is formatted to have a
border at the top and the bottom. When looking at the spreadsheet and the
print preview, all the borders are correct. When I print the spreadsheet, one
border does not print. I've looked at the formatting for the rows that touch
this non-printing line and both of them show the formatting as I want it.
What could cause this problem?

Hello Youngergirl4...

Your problem with Excel 2003 not printing some of the boarders (the lightest border) has also been haunting me for quite some time.
I was printing an area that would leave one border unprinted on each page of 16 pages.

Did a google search and your question was the first that poped up that was just the problem I was having. But there were no replies with answers.
Now you got a REPLY after hacking at everything I could think of in the printer setup.

I just now found out why. :)

Go into Page Setup
Click the CUSTOM button under Print Quality
Click the DETIALS button
Under RENDERING MODE click the button for:
"Send Graphics as Raster"

It worked for me running an HP 2100d Laser printer.

I sure this helps you, as it has been driving me nuts for a long time.

Take care and let me know if it worked. But please use my E-Mail to let me know as I don't get into these forums much.
