Saving Message Strings

S

S. Elaine

Hello, everyone:

I would like to save a number of e-mail messages, without having to save
each one individually. Let's say that I receive an e-mail from a friend, I
respond, the friend responds again, and we proceed back and forth for some
time. Rather than save each individual e-mail, I'd like to save the final
string of, say 6 or 8 messages we've exchanged. Of course, I can search
manually to find the final set of exchanges, and just save that one, but it
seems that there must be an easier way! Any suggestions?

If you replied back and forth, the last email that you have sent or received
is the one that contains the entire conversation. Save that one and you
should be fine. You can strip the things you don't want manually.

Currently Outlook does not have a way to clean up a conversation like this
(read: remove part of a conversation that are included in other messages as
well).
