I have ?'s regarding microsoft security patches or packages. The Treo 700w
smartphone was placed on the market advertising it can syncronize with
exchange servers because of the product software Microsoft Exchange. However,
activesync is not workin w exchange server. Tech support tells me that it is
b/c activesync 4.1 has these security patches put on from Microsoft that will
not allow the software to accept the "wild card" certificate and therefore
not sync.
Basically I'm wondering is there anything we can do to get the treo 700 to
sync w the exchange server and to read this wildcard certificate
(*.bizatlarge.net)
Is there a download available or a way to to add a certificate to the
TREO700 to override the Microsoft security patch in order to sync with
exchange server? The error code I keep getting is: 0x80072F17 translating to
"unsupported digital certificate"
