Sorry I have never been able to "read" any Hijack Log :o However, DAP is spyware, remove it.

I see you have opened up your system to any tom-dick-harry via P2P file sharing ... so I do hope you have ALL the "Windows Critical Updates" are running a good AV program along with at least Ad-aware, SpywareBlaster and have a Firewall in place.

with any prob like this, the first thing you need to do is install lastest crital updates for windows then run anti virus scan and spyware scan.

do that then come back if not resolved.

Hi Everyone

I am having a similar problem. The only thing is mine occurs as soon as a log in to Windows XP. So i click debug, nothing happens and if i click "send report" or "don't send report" it doesnt really matter, because the system attempts to shut down and it cant, resulting in the "windows has encountered a problem....." screen and same thing happens over and over again.

I have tried to follow some of the tips on this forum, but whenever i try to open something else and that error message comes up again It closes everything else down.

Any ideas? or am i just gonig to have to f disk it and wipe my computer?

Cheers

Sorry Sloth, you would be better of starting you own thread ... jumping into an old one like this wont get you many responces.

Copy your text and past it into a new thread. ;)

your log was fine untill it got into the BHO (browser helper objects) as everyone else has mentioned, you have spyware

Found the fix!

Yeah, I have been getting that error message too. Most of the time I got the error message when I either opened, or right-clicked on a file that is larger than 500MB.

About a month later when that problem stated to happen, my computer went to a Blue screen. And that is when I realized that I had a bad memory chip in my computer. I took the faulty memory chip out at the blue screen went away, and the error messages are gone!

Hope this helps people out!
