Windows Vista "windows cannot connect to the domain" 2003 server

"windows cannot connect to the domain"
That's the error I was getting while trying to login to my 2003 server (not the AD box.)

Someone mentioned remove from AD, reboot, reinsert to AD. I will be trying that to see if things clear up.

Wish me luck, as I was worried that file ownership would be screwed up when I do this sort of detach from domains....
