Windows Activation not connecting

Is there any way for me to re-configure my internet connection so that Windows Activation can connect to activate windows. I am able to conect to the internet via my Cable Modem, but I am unable to connect using the Activation Screen.
 
I have found the problem with my Activation, it was down to the fact that my calendar was showing January instead of February. Altering it to February allowed to me to connect and Activate windows.
