window media player music copy problems

I am tring to copy music from cd to my documents / my
music......... using windows music player. The path is
right It starts to copy and does for about 2 % of it.
But then it stops and goes to the next song It will
say "media player encountered" when it swithes Any
Idea's JK
 
You're using the wrong procedure. Use Windows Explorer and either "drag&drop" or "copy&paste"
Shuttle to the directories on the CD (probably D:\music) and move them to C:\Documents and Settings\<your name>\My Documents\My Music.
Start/All Programs/Accessories/Windows Explorer
