Virus on an original driver CD?

Hi There

I did a clean install on XP today...loaded NAV2008 on first then tried running the mainboard driver CD.

NAV identified Backdoor.Eggdrop as being on the disc. It's an original Soltek driver disc!

Is this likely to be false positive or something a bit more sinister?

At any rate i found an nforce2 chipset on the web and used that instead.

Chances are you got your Trojan while installing Nav 2008....Do yorself a favour and run Superantispyware and see what happens..Also if you can get rid of NAV and go for Kaspersky 2009..NAV is a pile of POOOOOOO!
