I uninstalled Spybot S&D a week or so back in the usual way through Control Panel. Straightforward.
Due to other problems I did a System Restore, moving back to a time before Spybot was uninstalled. Spybot of course reappeared but when I try to uninstall it now I get a message saying "S&D uninst000.dat does not exist. Cannot uninstall"
I've tried deleting it from Program Files but I am told that I need "permission" to do this (even though I am the administrator) and I am not able to remove it.
Any ideas?
Is it worth downloading the whole Spybot program again so that I get the uninst000.dat file?
