Transferring files and settings

If I use the Widows files and settings transfer wizard, transferring from
Outlook 2002 to Outlook 2003 (and other office programs), if I don't delelect
items, will a lot of junk get transferred?
 
I've used it before to go between the same version of Office on both machines
and it worked pretty well. Not sure about going between different versions.
